The company, Social Work Studies at Sea, LLC was created by two Clinical Social Workers who happen to be sisters. Brandy Thompson-Fisher, LISW-CP-S and Kelly M. Hayes, LCSW-C both understand the difficulties of working, keeping up with licensure requirements and self-care. These courses at sea were developed to enable social work and mental health practicing professionals to earn relevant, high-quality continuing education credits in their field, combined with a real vacation experience aboard some of the best cruise ships. Social Work Studies at Sea, LLC is a unique opportunity for professionals to secure quality continuing education while spending quality time with family and networking with peers in a relaxed atmosphere. Our courses are held throughout the world and Our are held during days at sea so as not to conflict with your plans at the beautiful ports of call you'll visit or the fun to be had onboard every night.`

Brandy Thompson-Fisher is the wife of Cedric M. Fisher, MD and mother of 4 beautiful children under the age of 14. She is the owner of Mind Renewal Services, LLC a mental health practice. Brandy is well aware of the important role that family plays in an individuals life and the significance of a great work-life balance. She has 16 years of experience as a social worker in the areas of child welfare, mental health, HIV, multicultural issues, women's issues, and parenting. Brandy received her Bachelors in Social Work from Coppin State University (2002), her Masters in Social Work from Boston University School of Social Work (2003) and her Certification in Human Service Management from Boston University (2003). She was also inducted into Phi Alpha National Social Work Honor Society (2001) and Alpha Kappa Delta International Sociology Honor Society (2001). Brandy is an approved clinical social work supervisor in the State of South Carolina. Currently, she is the President of the South Carolina Society for Clinical Social Work. She has also been a member and served in leadership positions of several civic organizations in South Carolina, Maryland, and Pennsylvania.

Kelly M. Hayes is a Clinical Social Worker in Maryland. She is the wife of Djwaal Hayes, Sr and mother of 5 beautiful children. Kelly is a proud alumna of Coppin State University (BSW, 2007) and University of Maryland School of Social Work (MSW, 2013). She served as President and Vice President of the Theta Rho chapter of Phi Alpha National Social Work Honor Society while at Coppin. Kelly has 15 plus years of experience in the field of social work in the areas of child welfare, mental health, and education. Kelly is a board approved social work supervisor in the state of Maryland, and currently serves in the field of education and is the owner of Hayes Foundation, LLC, a mental health practice. Kelly's life mission is to be of service to others, through the strength and grace of her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ!
